About the founder
Adam Tluka
Born in Czechia and fluent in Czech, English, and French, Adam Tluka brings a European perspective to every conversation around the horse. He studied at the Czech Racing School in Velká Chuchle and at the French bilingual Grammar School of Jan Neruda in Prague — foundations that shaped both his horsemanship and his international outlook.
He graduated with an MBA with honours from Hartpury University on the International Horseracing Business course, combining academic discipline with a career already rooted in the racing and bloodstock world.
Having worked with horses across Europe, he brings bloodstock management experience from Czechia, France, Ireland, and England — the practical network and judgement behind OWNING’s approach to presentation, welfare, and trusted sales.
